Founded by Hj Ibrahim bin Din and established as a private limited company on the 23rd of November 1983, Syarikat Sribima Sdn Bhd first started off as a sole proprietor company. Now, Syarikat Sribima Sdn Bhd has diversified itself by forming several affiliated companies and continues to expand.

Earlier activities of Syarikat Sribima Sdn Bhd included supplying multi-skilled manpower to the petrochemical industries to perform on and off-shore works in construction, drilling, production and maintenance. Personnel skills range from general workers, right up to highly skilled professionals.

Syarikat Sribima also has a fleet of vehicles for material handling and transportation services which include prime movers, crane, mounted trucks, general cargo trucks, tipper trucks and road tankers. The transportation services in the petroleum, plantation and quarry sectors (which are mainly concentrated in Sarawak), can be carried out either through call-off basis, or on a long term contract-basis.

Other sectors that are gaining prominence within Sribima include freight forwarding services, movement of personnel effects, as well as equipment rental services.
